When the beginning of this year rolled around about 11.5 months ago I decided to make a pact with myself that I was going to make things instead of trying to buy everything that I need. I, of course, took to my Satellite star internet to check out what sites could help me along the way and I ran across Etsy.com. I know that a lot of people have not yet heard of Etsy but it is a great site! It is probably 99% small business owners who started creating things that they love and are passionate about and then decided to get together on a site where they can sell their creations. I have purchased some really great things from that site that I never would have found in a local store. One thing that I love to buy is custom signs for baby shower gifts. I found a store on Etsy that sells shabby chic style signs that say “sweet dreams” and then the baby’s name. They are so adorable I want to have my own baby just so I can have one in my house.
