Missed the Blueberry Festival

Every year about this time our small town has a celebration called the Blueberry Festival. My hubby, who has been a resident of this town for more than ten years now had forgotten all about it. I knew it was somewhere in the month of July but I did not think about it until today. This morning I happened to remember it because July is about to end. My hubby thought that it would be this weekend but when I searched online I found out that it was last weekend. I should have checked it out a few weeks ago because I wanted to watch the parade and take part in the festivities. I watched it last year and it was fun. That was one of the outdoor activities that I had been looking forward to this year but I missed it. Better luck next time. I need to keep it in mind so I won't forget next year.
