Unexpected Phone Call

Today I received a phone call from a friend. I had called her a couple of days ago but I didn't think she would return my call. I had called her several times over the past few months but got no response. I knew that she was pregnant but I didn't know that she had been having a hard time in her first few months of pregnancy. She told me that at the time she didn't want to talk to anyone and even left her job. I now understand why she wasn't returning my phone calls. The good news is that she is now doing well and expecting a baby boy during the first week of May. She also gave me some advice about where to shop for inexpensive maternity clothes in the nearby town.
