Car Accident

November 12, 2009 was the day that I couldn't forget even if I wanted to. It was the day that my hubby and I wrecked our car when we were on our way to Colorado for my younger sister's wedding. It was also the first car accident that I had ever experienced. I also experienced a ship wrecked back when I was still in the Philippines when my hubby and I were on our way home from our honeymoon.

The car accident was very scary and shocking. I thought that I would die. If I did not have my seat belt on I would probably have gotten injured. We were on a six lane freeway minding our own business when a truck cut us off and forced us into a lane where another truck had dropped a large wooden pallet in the middle of the road. As a result my hubby lost control of the car and hit the concrete guard rail.

Fortunately we suffered only minor bumps and bruises. We ended up renting a car to continue our road trip. Even though the accident cost us a lot of money, I am still thankful that we didn't get seriously injured.
